A boost gauge is an instrument that is used to show the amount of pressure a turbo charger or super charger is producing. Typically, a turbo or super charger system is designed to give the maximum benefit at a particular amount of boost pressure. By monitoring the boost gauge, you are able to keep the vehicle's engine components in the proper power range to achieve the most performance from your vehicle.

Give our SAAS Diesel Boost gauge a go! Engineered for diesel applications, the boost gauge only shows pressure and not vacuum. Keep an eye on your turbo--and add race car style to your dash--by installing your own SAAS boost gauge. For petrol engines please refer to our Boost/Vac gauges.

Monitor your vehicle's exhaust gas temperature and be on the alert for possible overheating or other potential engine issues. Designed to measure high temperatures beyond those of a normal temperature gauge, our Muscle series EGT gauges feature a thermocoupled sensor that can be placed into an appropriate temperature source such as the exhaust manifold.

These gauges become an essential tool in checking for imbalanced air/fuel ratios which can be influenced by restricted air filtration systems, altitude, load, ambient temperature and so on. Modify your driving (when towing for example) before excessive temperature builds.

Depending on your gauge location, you may need to purchase an exhaust temp probe extension so as to avoid undue tension on the lead. This is particularly so with gauges mounted in Pillar Pods. You may also need to supply a weld on bung to allow mounting of the probe - use our SGA1001 Exhaust Temp Sender Bung (link in Spares/Specs below)
